Don't worry about this, Thomsons are PROFESSIONALS at this. They take your cases from outside your cabin during the night, load then up into crates, stack them up in a secure building, and when your called to get your coach, you then identify your luggage and put it on the coach, then you go to the airport and "usually" if it is a "cruise" you are given a different check in from the others.Don't worry about walking around Palma with your cabin luggage either, then take your bags and put them in the cinema or card room, with a raffle ticket that they put on your case or bag, don't be bothered about anyone touching them, the staff will NOT steal from you, only the other passengers do this, these people depend on a job , so they look after YOU,P.S do what I do Give them a quid for every bag you put in, this will cetainly be thankfull as they are the cleaners who don't usually get a tip anyway.Enjoy it I am sure you WILL.

Not sure about Thomson but some other lines offer disemabarkation day shore excursions where they store your luggage for you and then take you to the airport at the end of the excusrsion. Another option might be to use left luggage facilities at the prot whilst you go off and do your own thing. It could be if your airport transfer is included that they will take you to the airport and leave you there with your luggage hours before your flight. What is almost certain is that you will be leaving the ship early in the morning. Perhaps someone else on this board may have been on this particular cruise and will be able to tell you specifically what the arrangements/alternatives will be. If you can't find out from Thomson before you go, you will be able to find out what the options are when you are onboar.

When we have been in that situation we were able to buy another cabin for around £30 for the day and we went ashore for the morning and had a snooze in the afternoon before showering etc ready for our evening flight....it was in Corfu but it was a Thomson ship in 2006. If you don't want to buy a cabin for the day there will be somewhere secure on board to leave your flight bags and you will be able to do your own thing whilst you wait for the transfer to the airport.
