The National Express coach stop is just outside the dock gates-plenty of taxis and a short journey---I think our fare was £2.5.

They have drop off points in more than one part of Southampton so it depends where your service goes to. The main coach station is Harbour Parade which I would say is just over a mile away. Suggest you go to their web site where there is a map facility. P&O usually sail from Western Docks (106?) although I've sailed from the QE2 terminal on one occasion which is in the other direction. Don't forget that the ship doesn't wait for delayed coaches so don't cut your arrival time too fine. Have a nice holida.

The coach station is by the West Quay shopping complex - it depends which berth you are sailing from as to how far its - QE2 berth is a bit of a way from there - not walkable but only a short taxi ride, but otherwise its not really very far.

Last year, as a reasonably fit 64 year old, I walked it with my trolley case, downhill all the way then flat along New Quay Rd took about 45 mins. In terms of distance approx 1 mile. You can book a taxi from the NEx depot/mobile takes 10 mins to Mayflower dock. Compo.
