I was reprimanded last time when I suggested ...No. So check with your doctor and do as he suggests but I have not met anyone cruising in that area who has taken malaria tablets. Be careful if you visit the rain forests in Costa Rica and indeed any rain forest and wear a good barrier cream there but apart from that the cruise should be free of them. It is always wise if you are going into humid areas or ashore at night to use an anti mosquito cream and wear long sleeves and slacks.....Nei.
