If smith of wigan went to captins corner he would know this ship was never a ferry do your research childrens facilities for so young very limited and i dont think baby sitting an option,
The SHIP is smaller than some but size isn't everything quality not quantity.
Excellent value for money pay more if you want but don't expect champange when paid for ber
on my cruise which we both thoroughly enjoyed, value for money, there were only 2 out of 1200+ passenger.
They have a kid zone and a teenage club, but nothing for children as young as yours.
Your best bet would be to go with a company such as NCL they have excellent childrens facilities and there youngest kids club - Junior Sailors takes children from 2-5 years doing a range of activities from Painting, srts & crafts, pizza making, tresure hunts & family activities. the 8 year old would be in the first mates 6-9 years doing similar activities but they would do movies and storytelling as well, the children would receive a free goody bag/Kids Crew Backpack for free which includes a souvenir cup and UNLIMITED soft drinks for the legnth of the cruise, T shirt, Baseball cap, sunglasses, luggage tags and the backpack. it worth it if only for the free drinks. You can also have the kids looked after while your in port *for an extra charge, but it may be worth it if there is a particular excursion that you don't think would be suitable to take the children on.
1 word, "rubbish". dont even bother going on these nasty rotting ferrys and cast offs from other lines. childrens facilities are terrible and so is the rest of the (well cant call them a ships so) hell hole.
This is not an answer, simply a comment ... why are some people so rude (Smith Mar 2nd); the Newtons have been on the ship before, so are aware of what to expect and are happy with it. They were only enquiring about childrens facilities and probably not expecting a 'rant' as an answer.
