They do seem to hedge their bets on forecasting. My suggestion is that you Google the various ports and you will often get the actual weather and temperature on the site but remember the time difference and it does get extremely chilly with cloudless skies at night....Id.

Just got back 14 Feb and Temps were around 70f. All ports were sunny and people were sunbathing in port. Wind did get up a bit in Sharm yesterday but still warm and sunny. Evenings are a little cooler but most ladies were wearing Summer clothes for day and evening, with a wrap where aircon cools down in the bars.Best to layer clothes for trips out as feels cool when you leave for excursions early morning but soon warms up.Hottest was Luxor/Karnak/Valley of the kings so bear that in mind was nearer 75f there. Cairo also warm and Petra was 'pleasant' but you walk through shaded areas where a fleece will be useful. In short... take crops or long shorts tee-shirts and a fleece, if you take too many layers you can leave them on the tour bus, no problem. Have fun, you'll love the whole trip! Oh and one last thing....comfie shoes are a must.
