Can only give you some of them as we were on the repositioning cruise which only went to Port Sokhna and Sharm el Sheikh. from Port Sokhna the Pyramids and Cairo Museum approx. 12 hours was £68 per person (all children are half price) Pyramids, Mosque and Nile was the same length and price, as was the Pyramids, Memphis and the Tombs...Pyramids and shopping same length but £32....there was also a Beach transfer to a hotel resort fairly close to the port for £22.00 approx 4 hrs. In Sharm el Sheikh there was Half Day Quad Biking for £29 ...Half Day Glass Bottom Boat for £19 Half Day to Ras Mohamed by Boat £32 and a Transfer to Naama Bay for shops and beach for half day £12....the trips in Sharm were subject to the time of your flight home...we were leaving the ship at 1.45 pm and were unable to do any trips. Hope this helps a bit. The full day trips leave at 0700 all together in convoy to Cairo.

We did the cruise in 2006 and the prices for each trip were all about £65 per person for Petra, Luxor and Cairo They were long trips (about 12-14 hrs) but were all excellent especially Petra and all included lunch at a good hote.

We did Petra, full day, and the Valley of the Kings, full day. From what I can remember they were both somewhere around £65-68. Both, as do the Cairo full day trips, include an excellent lunch and, although the journeys are long, are well-worth it. Just remembered we also did the Dead Sea trip - this was the biggest laugh I have had in years!!!! Think this was approximately the same price too for the full day. We have been on the Red Sea Cruise three times (twice on the Spirit and once on the Celebration) so have done all the major trips. Have a great time - we have loved every minute of the cruises - Thomson cruises are great fun. We are going to the Caribbean in January on the QM2 and we are a bit worried that we are going to find it all terribly stuffy!!! Anything else you want to know email me on fotograffs@aol.com.

Additionally, the trip to Petra is £70 per adult which includes a hotel lunch.L:ast year Thomson's automatically assumed you would go on this trip, so you had to opt out if you did not wish to go.Luxor overnight is over £100. Quad biking is VERY much cheaper if you book it yourself in Sharm.

Hi We did this last Christmas - and, for us, the excursions really made the trip - once in a lifetime stuff! In particular do not miss the Petra trip but be aware that it is a long walk - worth taking some good walking shoes for. The best place to check out most of the major excursions is on the Thomson web site. If you click on cruises and then the "what destinations can I visit section", select winter 2007 and then just pick out your ports of call. Hope that helps...
