Mr. McGuire, Thank you for the acknowledgement but I'm afraid I am going to disappoint you. The only time I have seen Thompson cruise ships has been when we have been in the same port as them. I must admit to a preference these days to the more modern ships and Thompson ships are not that new....sorry....Neil Dow.

Yoiu're more than welcome, Mr McGuire I have been to the Canaries but unfortunately only to St Cruz de Tenerife, a port which I do not like a lot. The time after next we are going to the Azores and this will be new for us. Madeira we love and my suggestion for there is to get the ship's bus to town go on to the funicular and go up to the gardens at Monte. Good sailing.....Ida and Neil Dow.

Thompsons ships may not be that new but having sailed on the Emerald last year old ship yes but what a ship when we went through a storm on our way to Croatia.Very stabilised. The Thompson Destiny out of all the other ships I have sailed on P&O Carnival Royal Caribbean etc Thompson still have that special touch, not glitzy but fantastic time you will have!!!
