The cabins are 110.volts.you could only have your phone charged at the reception desk.i hope this is helpful.
Yes you need a travel adapter (USA), which you need for any electrical appliances. The power is not a strong as our power but it will eventually charg.
The Destiny was an American ship originally, so takes the 2 pin flat plug, not the european adaptor. These can be bought anywhere.
We used one to recharge our phone in the cabin in August, it worked fine, just check the voltage on your phone charger. If any problems they will charge it at reception for no cos.
Anything you need recharged will have to be given into Reception and charged by them overnight.
Yes. Cabin outlets are US two pin. Last summer a couple of young girls near our cabin had a long lead to use the European two pin outlet in the corridor for their hair tongs etc.
I travelled on Destiny last year and there was only one plug in the cabin. This was situated at the top of the vanity table and therefore this was a struggle to dry hair, charge phones etc. The weight of the adaptor would not hold in the plug.
You will need US style adaptors for any electrical items you wish to use.
