Yes it does. The dining times are set - you have approx a 10min lee-way but then some companies physically shut the dining room doors. It is considered very rude to turn up late, the others at the table are sitting waiting for you, and you throw out the system the waiters have as they will be getting your starters whilst everyone else is on deserts. I suggest you go for the AnyTime Dining option whereby you can eat when you want.

Hi, We sailed on the Crown Princess in April 2007. Travel agent booked second sitting for us without us realising - (thought it was too late to eat). There wasn't a problem we just went to reception and asked for anytime dining, you just turn up when you want and you are allocated the best available table. The food is just the same as fixed dining - hope you enjoy your cruise,.
