The new smoking law only applies when the ship is in uk waters.

Yes you can smoke in thecabins and also on one side of champians bar and one side of the crows nest, as well as on the port side on the decks, never found a problem with this and have sailed on aurora 4 time.

Would suggest you check with P&O after 1 July, as with the new legislation, as the ship is British Registered, the new law may come into force, meaning you cannot smoke in any enclosed public area..

I am cruising with P&O in August, following the ban, and have been assured by them that it will still be OK to smoke in cabins and in some designated areas inside the ship although they cannot yet tell me where these areas will be on each ship.
