Find Your Cruise
Always seem to be Australia.
Sorry i dont mean the auctioneer i mean the assistants that help him display the paintings thanks for your repl.
It is a rip off irrespective of the staff nationalities!!
If i wanted an opinion like that i would have asked for one (Mr or Mrs Ross?) That was not the question i asked so your answer was not useful. and for your information they are not a rip off as you put it. we have purchased several pieces and they have all be valued higher, than the price we paid!!!!!
As far as i remember, the auctioneer was an american guy, that was in nov 0.
I have found the art auctions to be extremely profitable. In our suite we received a small lithograph presumably as a temptation to attend the auction. Of course we did not attend but upon our return I placed the lithograph for sale on eBay - and received £5 for it. As I said - extremely profitable outcome.
I really dont know why people are putting stupid answers to the person's question.....really not helpful. if you have not got a good answer then you should not comment!
On Oceana in Feb 2008 the auctioneer was Canadian and his assistants appeared to be part of the crew - ie Indian.
