Find Your Cruise
We took the taxi from Barcelona airport to the Cruise terminal (and back after our cruise)last year and it cost us about 20 euros each way for 4 of us and took about 15 minutes. A lot cheaper than using the cruise lines transfer! There were loads of taxis just outside the terminal exit so not a long wait, but there was a very long queue at the terminal after the cruise for the taxi back to the airport. Enjoy your cruise.
We live in Spain.
From the airport , you can take the metro to Drassanes, which is just across the road from the port.
Leave the underground station and cross the road towards the port. There is a bus stop more or less straight in front of you, which is purely for buses going to the cruise terminal. For 2 people, the complete journey will be under 10 euros and will take no more than an hour, even on sunday.
I am also going on that particlar cruise, on Aug 26th and have arranged flights from Bristol with easy jet. travelling time around 2.30 mins. flighttimings are ideal for the embarkation and return on the Sunday morning when we disembark after an early breakfast. go online to easy jet and make a booking as early as you can Ann John-Upto.
It takes about 30-40 minutes in a taxi, depending on traffic, and costs about 30 Euro.
We got a taxi right outside the airport straight to the port - took about half an hour. I think the cost was about 20 euros.
As we docked in arcelona the transfer was about £30 we had time to kill so we caught the hopper bus back to the centre of barcelona 7.50 euro one way had the day there and caught the bus back. taxis were a nightmare as the there were a lot of poeple comming off the ship all at onc.
Airport to Terminal is about 20 mins and 20 Euros by taxi. Trains run from the airport into Sants station in town, cost 6.90 Euros for a 10 trip day ticket, which can be used by more than one person. It then costs 10 Euros from Sants station to the terminal by taxi.
We disembarked Voyager of the Seas at Barcelona on 23 June, and there was a massive queue for taxis. There were plenty of taxis, but it took about 1 hour in the queue whilst each set of 5 taxis pulled up and loaded before the next 5, a big problem. I'd suggest getting the bus away from the terminal then get a taxi or the train back to the airport.
As others have said it was about 20 euros when we did this cruise last year. Coming back we shared with people we met on board. If this your first time on the Jewel we will live it. We are sailing on the 2nd September for 12 nights.
