Yes..your shipboard account will be in US$. Of course going ashore you will need the local currency, usually Euros and I would suggest you do not use the ship's exchange section for this but take some with you and use an ATM ashore to top up particularly if you have a Nationwide Debit Card as they will give you an excellent rate.
