On the e-tickets there are a list of items, one of them begin hair tongs and straighteners, wanted to know if anyone had taken them .

Fire on a ship is a major hazard and fear; cruise lines take the matter very seriously. I would suggest that if they ban anything then you should observe that instruction. It is there for a good reason. If it really bothers you book some hair appointments. .....Neil.
