As the Cruise line notified the Travel Insurance company for you and you did not do it yourself, then they will have had the bill paid direct to them, which is why you have had no bill.

I can't get my head round why you dont just ask your insurer that very question.

I really am surprised to hear that your Cruise Line are charging any Medical Costs direct to your Insurers. On the odd occasion when we have had to use the on board Medical Services we have been given details of the cost and then it is charged against our on board account. On our return we claimed the cost less any excess ourselves from our Insurers.
