If you are thinking of the carribean that time of year remember that they have hurricanes, and then returning to New York to snow blizzards. We got caught out at sea with a hurrican on our first Western Carribbean. Check your weather before booking.
The only cruise that really suits your criteria is the Queen Mary 2 cruise from New York, however, to be able to sail from New York down to the Caribbean and back is a minimum of a 10 night cruise, you then have to take into account an overnight flight back, which will take your holiday duration to 11 nights, this is not incorporating the pre/post stays you have requested. There are a couple of alternative cruises, I will gladly assist you in discussing your options, you can call on the number at the top of this page and ask for Jonathan, or any of our advisors will be able to help you.
We are booked on a 9 night cruise with RCI on the Explorer leaving New York on the 13th Dec to eastern carribean for 9 nights,we also booked 3 nights in New York before our cruise flying from manchester on the 11th,I believe this will combine both a great shopping chance in NY followed by a nice cruise to sunnier climbs before returning to man on xmas eve,I hope this was usefull and helps you make youe decision easier.
