Ida and Neil Down - Answered a Question by Bauer (09 Jan 08 15:10)

You will not be expected to anything as you go on board. Whilst on board there are certain items for which payment is required but you can sign for all these items and pay at the end. The things that you will pay for will be any alcoholic drinks, sometimes special coffees and cakes, excursions, spa treatments but not the gym activities, bingo, dining in the special restaurants but not the general restaurants and cafeteria, purchases made in the ships shops and your gratuities. All things of this nature. You will find a list of the things that are included free and the things that will require payment in the NCL Brochure and on their web-site. As you appear to be a novice at cruising I would suggest that you have a good read as there is so much information there that would be useful to you…..Regards….Nei.
