Travelled in the Caribbean this year end Feb/early March 07. Had fantastic weather - no tropical storms or hurricanes. Check out internet for holiday weather for the areas you want to visit for specific advice.
The Caribbean is best visited from December to April unfortunately this is also peak time so many prices will be higher but two months either side of these dates are normally ok and during the rest of the year you risk strong heat and storms...Neil Dow.
Just got back from 2 weeks cruise in Caribbean with RCI -no storms, no problems just calm seas and fantastic weathe.
I have cruised in the caribbean in November, December, February and March. The latter two are better than the former. I would avoid May to October because of hurricanes and there is a definite risk of showers or longer periods of rain. PETER CHADWIC.
I have cruised 3 times in the Carribean in July and weather has been good, can be slightly choppy the stretch of water out to Barbados and if you are going to the Panama canal. Each time I have cruised for 14 nights and would not hesitate going again at this time of year. Have now booked for Oct.
Between November and march/Apri.
The best time to cruise the caribbean is november to march. Although it can still rain at times it is usually early morning and over quickly. We have cruised once in November & once in march, both times having excellent weather and calm seas. Whenever you go have an amazing time.
January or February is best The hurricane season is over and you are away from the winter in UK.Weather should be brilliant. We have experience it. FROM ROY PEPWORTH BRISTO.
My advice is Jan, Feb or Mar.
Best time to cruise in caribbean are december an early january not august as thi is hurricane season regards angel.
