They have a red bus tour around Malaga but we found it to be a dead loss. There doesn't seem to be a lot to cover so the bus goes at a snails pace and waits at each stop just to use up time. Get a decent city map and walk. If you want to go up to the high point there is a regular bus service (about every 10 minutes I think) and it's very cheap. As far as Rome goes I suggest you type Rome into the keywords box at the top of this screen and see the past postings for your question. I don't know about getting to Florence from La Spezia but for Italian train services take a look at www.trenitalia.com and select the english option. Don't forget that if you go a long distance on your own the ship won't wait for you if you get delayed for any reason.
