We have always taken 3 bottles of wine for us in our cabin. Never had any problems. We always take it in carry on luggage.p.s. dont forget corkscrew! Have a wonderful cruise. Dont think there are any restrictions! You can always buy extra ashore.

P&O are one of the few cruise lines that allow you to take your own alcohol on board with you at the moment. That is one of the main reasons that I cruise with them, as I like to have a drink in my cabin whilst I get ready for dinner each evening. I usually take a bottle of Champagne on board with me for the first night also. Please do not abuse this priviledge! If the yob culture starts to creep in with people taking crates of beer onboard with them at every port, P&O will obviously join the majority of lines and ban the bringing of alchohol onboard their ships! I aways buy a bottle of wine in the restaurant each evening, and buy drinks in the show lounges and on deck during the day. My drinks bill usually amounting to about £200 for a two week cruise. So long as you are sensible about it and treat this priviledge with respect, I see no reason why it should not continue. Happy cruising.
